Visit any garden center and it isn’t hard to find a large variety of flowers in shades of red, white and blue. Simply select your favorite color combination or choose from some of these great container ideas.
Popular red flowering plants include celosia, geraniums, petunias, snapdragons, verbena and vinca.

A wide variety of white-flowering plants are usually easy to find. Alyssum, bacopa, daisies, geraniums, violas, petunias, snapdragons, verbena or vinca all make great choices for container gardening.

Plants with blue flowers can be a little harder to find, but there are some great choices. Blue varieties of angelonia and petunias as well as ‘Victoria Blue’ salvia look great when paired with red and white flowers.

Red and blue colors contrast beautifully with each other and once you add white to the mix, you have a lovely color combination that will continue to look great once the fireworks have faded.
